5 Tips to feel better naked!

  • April 14, 2021

Do you want to feel comfortable in your body whilst being naked? We have collected 5 great tips for more self-confidence in your own skin.

The thought of your totally naked body may not be a problem in itself when you are alone. But be it undressing in front of your partner, on the beach or in the sauna, your comfort shifts.
Feeling comfortable naked seems impossible for many, as every flaw, no matter how small, is revealed. It is safe to say that social media plays a major influence, in addition to normative magazines and body shaming. But now it’s over!

With these five tips you can learn to celebrate your body and feel good naked:

1.) Drop the covers when you are alone!

Every now and then walking through the apartment in underwear or completely naked can be incredibly liberating. The household to-dos can also be done very easily. Take a look in the mirror every now and then! You will realize suddenly that small flaws won’t matter. You just have to practice being naked. And if a day seems too long for you, the occasional “free” dancing helps a lot. The plus side is, it is even more fun in the nude!

2.) Take care of your skin!

In order to feel good in your own body, the exterior should of course appear well-groomed so that you feel 100 percent comfortable. A tip for a little freshening up of the elasticity of the skin is the well-known hot-cold alternating shower. But it is also important to take the time for a nourishing and relaxing bath, a body peeling, and then applying lotion to feel like new.

3.) Feeling good from the inside out

The inside of your body must not be neglected either and plays a major role in the feel-good factor. Of course, a balanced diet is essential, but especially when it comes to supporting our metabolism and avoiding flatulence, we can do something good for ourselves with a light diet. If we give our body the right input, we will also radiate it outwards.

4.) Take photos!

You don’t just have to practice being naked, you also have to be able to look at yourself naked. And of course, we prefer to do that when we know that what we are looking at is beautiful. Good lighting, subtle make-up, and a beautiful but comfortable pose call for you to press the shutter release. Regardless of whether it is done by our partner, a professional, or ourselves, a beautiful nude photo of us can make a big difference.

5.) Surround yourself with positive people and role models who like their bodies

Last but not least, it’s important to say goodbye to body shaming and unrealistic body images. In order to celebrate yourself naked, and in general, you should be inspired by and support other women. We all deserve to love each other for who we are, but sometimes it takes a little support. Girls support girls! And isn’t it the small blemishes, dimples, scars, moles, and co that make us something special?
