Being able to feel comfortable and confident in your own skin is not an easy task. Nowadays, we spend a lot of time indoors, whether it be working from home, or going to school. Our lives have changed dramatically, and comfort has become a top priority for many. Most of the time, you’re probably not in the mood to dress up and look cute for a work meeting, but every once in a while it’s nice to put on something that makes you think, “Wow I haven’t looked or felt this good in a while.” It’s important to remind yourself to be confident and feel comfortable, even from home.

SKIMS is an American shapewear brand founded and created in September 2019, by Kim Kardashian West. SKIMS is recalled as, “Kim’s answer to shapewear that actually works. SKIMS originated as a necessity for Kardashian, who was always looking for the best shape-enhancing undergarments to accentuate and support her body. “I first had the idea to launch my own shapewear line over a decade ago, but it’s something that I knew I didn’t want to rush to get right. I wanted SKIMS to deliver a product that I myself would wear on an everyday basis and I am so proud of every single piece that we have created,” says Kim Kardashian West when asked about why she wanted to create a shapewear line.

Model and art director, Charlie Max, is all about capturing women in their truest form. Charlie exudes body positivity and confidence through her raw, censorless, and honest photographs on her Instagram. “I feel there is a misconception on social media and society in general that body positivity is about embracing larger bodies,” says Charlie. She then goes on to define body positivity as “encouraging love and respect for all bodies, and most importantly fostering a relationship with your own body.”
