Why is it that we rarely, or never talk about masturbation?
Sexuality is a very natural thing for some people, and it can be innate to us, but many shy away from exploring their sexuality because they’re afraid, confused or uneducated. Masturbation can be a touchy subject, but it’s 2020. People are becoming so much more open to discussing taboo topics. Why do some people still feel ashamed to talk about their sexuality or masturbation? Why should people feel ashamed? After all, sex is one of the most natural and beautiful things in the world.
Is it because of our upbringing – keyword: church? Or why does it seem to be such a big taboo topic? Articles about sex and relationships always click well online, but people seem to be afraid of being caught researching information on masturbation. In Anonymous Internet it is no problem, but in the real world it seems to be. That is really crazy!
Masturbation Benefits
Personally, I believe that masturbation is one of the most beautiful things in the world. Not only does it make you feel good, but also in my opinion, it cultivates and boosts your self-confidence. Furthermore: If you learn more about your body and enjoy masturbation, you will not only get sexual benefits for yourself, but also have better sex benefits with your partner. When a woman knows what pleasures her the most, she can also tell her partner how she likes to be touched and stimulated. This creates a beautiful relationship with yourself and your partner because you’re able to be more open about what you like or don’t like.
During my research I came across a great survey asking women/girls how often they masturbate. (1515 answers):
I (w) have never done masturbation before: 11%
I (w) have not done any masturbation this year: 2%
I (w) am currently doing masturbation at most once a month: 7%
I (w) am currently doing masturbation two to three times a month: 13%
I am currently doing masturbation once or several times a week: 36%
I am currently doing masturbation once or several times a day: 31%
As you can see, every category is represented, and this suggests that masturbation should not be so taboo! We are talking about masturbation for women! With men, of course, this is again the most normal thing in the world! Typical!
A Matter of Taste
Of course, everything is a matter of taste. Some people may not pleasure themselves for their entire life, while others may do it several times a day. Both are perfectly fine. Everyone is allowed to keep it to themselves. You are neither strange or abnormal if you do not touch yourself, nor is it in any way bad to indulge in your lust several times a day.
I cannot imagine a life without masturbation. 🙂 Especially since the Sextoy Satisfyer has been around. The name says it all, whoever tries it raves about violent, never-before-seen orgasms. Just heavenly. *Attention* danger of addiction! In the meantime, there is even a Satisfyer for men…. This is what I call equality!
A massage stick is also highly recommended. You can use it either by yourself, or with your partner and it can be used to massage the entire body and possibly some intimate areas. Also suitable for couples and singles: the couples’ vibrator. Some even have a remote control, with which you can stimulate yourself without having to put your hands on it.
You can also do it the classic way — with your hand or a dildo.
Try It Yourself
Whether you use sex toys, or your hands, everything is fine and totally normal! Just take your time to really explore your body and try different positions, toys, and moods. It can only get better and more intense as you learn what you like and what you don’t like. And above all: Talk about it! With your partner and with your friends. After all, you can only profit from such an exchange! Trust me, nobody will tear your head off and you won’t go to hell. 😉
Enjoy!
