Hold on tight because Autumn is coming! Here is an Autumn shopping list with a few of my current favorite items and looks.
I hate to burst your bubble, but Summer is coming to an end. So, you might as well wear your short sleeve tops and jean shorts while you still can. I know I will be — once the cold comes along, my summer clothes will be left in the dark for a while.
Sweater vest
Sweater vests are perfect for layering on top of a plain white T-shirt and some jeans. You’ll be seeing a lot of sweater vests and open cardigan looks this fall…trust me!
Chunky loafers
I’m really loving chunky black loafers at the moment. The great thing about loafers is that you can dress them up in a skirt or dress, or you can go for a more casual jeans/blazer look.
Ballet flats
Love them or hate them — ballet flats have, and always will come back around! The beige and black color combination reminds of vintage Chanel flats which are timeless, classy and easy to pair with many outfits.
Bright purses
I have a feeling that this year’s fall fashion will revert back to neutral and basic colors when it comes to clothing, but bright and funky colors when it comes to accessories. Never underestimate the power of a cute and colorful purse to complete an outfit!
Cargo pants
Cargo pants are the slightly more professional sweat pants. They are comfortable and cute, and a bit more socially acceptable to wear out in public.
Colorful sneakers
Add a pair of colorful sneakers to a not so colorful outfit for the ultimate power look.
Handmade jewelry
Handmade jewelry really popped off in 2021. Between the lockdown boredom, random bursts of creativity and TikTok inspiration, people really created some amazing products!
