When it comes to fashion, colors and patterns are constantly evolving. It’s hard to stay on top of trends! Luckily, I’ve gathered some research and compiled a list of the hottest summer colors and patterns trending right now.
With the summer fast approaching, I’m constantly getting inspired by the people I see on the street, the people I follow on Instagram, and the people I see in the entertainment, beauty and fashion industry. It seems as though everyday there is a new trend, so it’s difficult to stay on track. The spring and summer always open new doors for fashion — the colors, patterns, and styles all change and create a completely different vibe.
Here are some summer color and pattern trends that I’ve picked up on and want to share with you!
Patterns
Psychedelic
’70s style and psychedelic inspired patterns are on the rise. The colorful print adds a unique look to any outfit. Not to mention, it’s not the most common thing to wear so you’ll definitely stand out!
Animal Print
At this point, I think we all know that animal print is back and hotter than ever. There’s a variety of animal patterns and colors to choose from like cheetah print, giraffe print, and zebra stripes.
Checkered/Gingham
Checkered and gingham print is everywhere right now! I’ve seen bucket hats, shoes, purses, shirts, pants, hair clips, etc. In my opinion, you can’t go wrong with this pattern and there’s so many fun colors to choose from.
Flowers
Flowers for spring and summer? I know, groundbreaking. But take this spin on the flower print and make it Hawaiian flower print for an even more fun look!
Colors
Bright and neon colors are very stylish at the moment and I’m loving it because I love adding color to my wardrobe. I find that it not only brightens up my face, but also my mood!
