Her blond dream hair, a radiant smile, and killer curves get not just men into rapture. Sarina Nowak is the rising star in the sky of plus-size fashion and yet so refreshingly likable and normal. How does the 24-year old manage to look a million dollars and where does Sarina like to go shopping? She told us about her personal fashion and beauty secrets.
Some time ago, Sarina turned her back on Germany and is now living and working in Los Angeles – obviously a true shopping paradise, Sarina admits vis-à-vis “The Curvy Magazine”. “I prefer shopping in the small boutiques at Melrose Avenue. There, I find always great stuff”, she says. Whereas in Germany plus-size beauties have more problems to find sophisticated clothes. “The market is hardly developed, and that makes it difficult to find something in my size. Especially at Zara & Co., which is a pity!” That’s why Sarina prefers online shopping. “I quite like the clothes of Pretty Little Things and the form-fitting stuff of Jay Lux Label.”
And how does she manage to still look that radiant and beautiful alongside the stressful model job and the many appointments? It’s pretty simple: “I wash my face in the morning and evening and apply a face oil. It makes the skin soft, like that of a baby“, she says with a smile. In addition, she relies on natural products. „I don’t use too many products but I pay attention to natural ingredients.” And the 24-year old has another tip for us: “Always apply creme.“
Well, we will certainly follow her tips in the future. Because obviously, Sarina Nowak knows what she says.
