Give me the pom-poms, the paisley patterns and the silver jewelry. We fancy floor-length summer dresses, embroidered tunics and ethnic bags. Since the 1960s, the hippies and their wild appearance have been the winners in fashion. Her style stands for “love, peace and happiness” and can be re-styled for the beach, the city or the cocktail party, depending on the occasion.
First rule: It all depends on the accessories! Especially the jewelry layerering is an absolute must here. The more chains in different lengths hang on the neck, the better. It’s the same with arm decoration. And of course the clothes should not be missing. A long fringe dress is quickly refined with a noble bag and high heels. With thong sandals and long earrings it becomes a beach outfit. The best part? The hippie look has been around for decades now, so you’ll be in vogue again next year.
