Handmade jewelry is back on trend! These five brands are here to prove just how cute and stylish handmade jewelry is.

Stringing beads together and creating pretty bracelets or necklaces has given me so much joy, and it all started as a child. These five female-owned brands for handmade jewelry prove that you can also turn this hobby into a profession and create unique, beautiful and modern jewelry.

tela wãve

Janina Schenkl, fashion editor at InStyle Germany, thought she had already found her dream. And then everything changed! After several years in the fashion world, a change was needed. In 2019, the Munich native found this change quite unexpectedly in jewelry design. Inspired by the most magical and sunny places in the world, the jewelry of tela wãve transmits feelings of endless summers and vacation joys directly to us in the big city life.

WALD Berlin

Dana Roski and Joyce Binneboese are the founders of WALD Berlin. In 2018, the stylist and the model ventured into jewelry design and found the inspiration for their pieces on their travels around the world. WALD Berlin “still has its roots in Germany and is proud to be a fair-trade and family-oriented business, supporting women, mothers and grandmothers all over Germany.”

project bon

Project Bon is a handmade jewelry brand inspired by colors and nature. Named after the founder’s father, Project Bon relies on nature’s influences and authentic Mediterranean color palettes to create wonderful one-of-a-kind pieces that break old visual habits. And while the founder prefers not to reveal herself, her jewelry is unmissable. Every piece is made with a lot of love in Barcelona, Spain.

Paulinathelabel

Naturalness, lightness and a connection to nature. This is what binds Paulina from Paulinathlabel with the family vacations of her childhood in southern Sweden. These feelings and memories of picking mushrooms, swimming in the lake, eating cinnamon buns or celebrating Midsomer led her to create a jewelry brand that tells her story. Today, Paulina, with the strong support of her dwarf dachshund lady Heidi, makes jewelry inspired by her Scandinavian life and memories.

CONTESSA BERLIN

Danish designer, Kirstine Østergaard Graf, was born with creativity running in her family. Graf has been living this talent to the fullest since the start of her brand, CONTESSA BERLIN, in 2017. Her mission is to support modern women in proudly carrying their individuality and femininity into the world and to give an outfit the perfect finish. She prefers to use natural pearls, which she transforms from untamed natural products into enchanting pieces of jewelry in her studio.

Handmade jewelry is back in full force and we are thrilled! What I love most about these brands are the unique handmade pieces with beautiful details, but also the fact that they are all female-led companies! How amazing is that! We love supporting women, so check out these cute jewels!
