Black nails are particularly popular in 2018. But not just black – no! Matt black! That’s how the look looks edgy, wild and cool! It becomes really casual when the matt lacquer is combined with glossy elements. Paint nails black and let them dry. For the glossy parts, mask the desired shape with adhesive strips and brush over with a matt topcoat. After drying, loosen the strips – and that’s it! Painting aid: It is best to rub Vaseline on the cuticles beforehand so that nothing goes wrong. This allows small paint flaws to be easily wiped off afterwards.

Border Nails

Probably the hottest trend in 2018, with this look a black outline is usually drawn around the coloured lacquer. This creates a kind of comic style on the nails. That’s the way: This requires some skill and a super-thin brush! After the base colour has been applied and dried, a thin line is drawn around the nail like a border. Not easy, but it’s worth it!

Are you looking for a cute nail design that gives you real summer vibes? Then the flower look is just right for you! Admittedly, the looks don’t look quite easy, but with Nailsticker or Fake Nails it is made fast. That’s the way: Simply cut the desired shape and stick on – and the flower magic is ready to go!

Glitter, crystal applications or sequins – this year the nails can sparkle. You like complete glitter nails too much? Then you can also emphasize only single nails with glitter or stones. That’s the way: Apply the base coat and brush several coats of glitter nail polish onto a sponge and then dab onto the nail. Repeat until the complete nail is covered with glitter. After drying, apply topcoat and the sparkling spectacle is finished.

Colourful nail tips with a coloured crescent moon in the nail bed provide a summer feeling. The two-coloured nail art should be varnished with as much contrast as possible. The look looks cool when styled with many rings. Trendsetters combine the crescent nail art with a very trendy French look in the same colour. That’s the way: Allow the base coat to dry and the nails to be painted and dried completely in the colour of the crescent moon. Glue on half moon stencil and brush the other lacquer over it. Important: The second coating must be more opaque than the first. Once the paint layers are completely dry, remove the stencil and fix it with a top coat.
