Nude comes in multiple variations. We’ll show the Shades of Nude for makeup, hosiery and lingerie.
For a long time, women could hardly find a makeup, hosiery, or lingerie which would match their skin colour. That’s water under the bridge: Pop star Rihanna takes the initiative by introducing her beauty line Fenty Beauty. True to the motto Beauty For All, she creates makeup literally for every woman. We also introduce you to three more brands standing up for equality. Together with them, we’d like to celebrate your skin!
Fenty Beauty
Times, when Rihanna was only known for being a singer or it-girl, are long gone: in collaboration with the German sportswear brand Puma, several fashion collections have seen the light of day meanwhile. And now she is about to conquer the beauty world. Since September, the newcomer label Fenty Beauty is available on the makeup market. What’s particularly great is The Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation that is proof of Riri’s clear focus on diversity. Every woman could identify with a colour palette including an incredible range of 40 foundations shades from Light, through Medium to Tan and Deep. Since October 13, the new Holiday Collection is available: in addition to liquid lipstick and eyeliner, the first eyeshadow palette complements the brand-new range.
Naja
The American label Naja and its “Nude For All“ collections have revolutionized the lingerie market. Women of all skin colours are now able to find underwear matching their individual skin tone. The product range includes seven nude shades: from Light with a touch of pink, through Deep Medium with a note of peach to warm Dark. The best is: all garments are made by female heads of households or single moms. They are paid above market wages, enjoy healthcare benefits and their children get educational support. They also care about the environment: thanks to the use of digital printing technologies their water waste is next to none. Many garments are even made of recycled plastic bottles.
Falke
Falke’s new underwear line is complemented by matching tights in eight colour shades: Crystal, Golden, Cocoon, Powder, Brasil, Noisette, Sun, and Coffee. For the development of the colour palette, Falke acted like a cosmetics manufacturer: they defined different skin tones first to then create the shades according to the tanning degrees. Each shade is – depending on the individual wardrobe – available in various versions like matt, shimmering or transparent. The tights’ structure provides your legs natural beauty – for you can show your legs with pride and pleasure.
Go Volunteer
While the gets more colourful each day, crayons remain pale. Despite the many existing skin colours, most crayon sets are limited to pink and orange. A problem that has inspired the voluntary association GoVolunteer to support creativity by offering 12 different skin coloured crayons. The first edition is limited to 250 pieces. Far beyond an office desk revolution this initiative is food for thought: the association is a German-wide community of voluntary refugee aid workers. All revenues from the crayon initiative flow into integration work. Brand-new: individual plasters in three different skin tones available in packs of 30. The GoVolunteer project gets under your skin for sure.
